Senior UX Designer: I'm currently an FTE at Microsoft, designing experiences for Power BI. I've played a key role in the new design direction of Power BI and continue to drive scenario-based experiences based on solid user validation. I was hired on contract four years ago as a visual designer to help redesign Office 365. After one year I looped for a position as UX Designer ll for the SQL org, and was promoted in my second year. I was assigned to a new vector called InfoNavigator, a natural language technology for data visualizations. InfoNav, now called Q&A, is an innovative feature of Power BI. Q&A also just recently launched in the new version of Bing with plans for integration into other products in the near future.

Independent Contractor/Senior Designer: Wunderman is the largest global marketing services network of advertising, marketing and consulting companies in the world. With my level of creative and knowledge of the Microsoft brand I contributed to the success of the Impact studio in Seattle, which is now one of the most profitable groups in the network. I was a hands-on designer and in many cases art directed contractors on larger projects that included multiple deliverables. Because of the consistent demand for stellar creative and the extremely fast-paced environment I was able to fine-tune my technical skills quickly. I also implemented an idea for presentation boards in pdf format that greatly enhanced the client understanding of our creative concepts and rationales.
